Isabella just got two baby ducks, here’s some pictures, they’ve been following her around. And William just got an iguana, they are practically one flesh now, haha! I still don’t know what it’s name is yet, first it was supposed to be Ricky Ricardo, then it was Rango, and now i think it’s name is Rex.

From Colima to Apizaco

Hellooooo!!!
Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve written! I hope you all are doing well, it was really really nice to see everybody in California, you guys just fill a void in me!!! Come visit anytime!!!

So! We flew home Saturday and got all our stuff packed for the move to Apizaco and started the 13 hour drive yesterday. Remember I told you that everyone has there Mexico story? Well everything was going smooth until the last few hours of the drive. Dad’s in the car behind us with the trailer. Mom and I are in the other car which starts to overheat and green stuff starts draining out of the car and water is boiling out from under the hood! So now we’re adding water and driving with the heater on, (um..we live in Mexico, it’s already a warm place) our faces are burning. Now we’re entering into a crazy city, we don’t know our way around. My Dad’s phone is out of credit, the walkie talkies are out of batterie. And the GPS keeps leading us down narrow one-way streets so we’re freaking out because we don’t know if the trailer will fit through. And the GPS leads us to a hotel that no longer exists. So we’re trying to find another hotel while driving in a 100 degree car that is smoking and we finally pull into a random hotel that tells us that there are no rooms available there or in any hotel in this city because there’s a convention going on!SERIOUSLY? It’s a Tuesday!!! The Hotel staff must have had pity on us because of our desperation and our look of homeless bums. So they gave us a really nice room, one queen size bed for the 5 of us, hahahaha! At this point we don’t even care, and I wasn’t sure if I should hug the 40-year old Bell-hopper for bringing up our luggage and an extra bed or name my firstborn after him! Thank you Carlos!!! So that was our new Mexico story, it wasn’t actually that bad, we were laughing about it last night. We still got everything we need, clothes, shelter, and food thanks to Jehovah.

The Mexi’s like to Par-tay!!!! Starting Christmas Eve it’s a nonstop party until New Years Eve. There’s fireworks and music playing all night. And then in the morning, the whole city is silent trying to sleep off there hangovers. I was impressed with there decorations! What can I say? Mexi’s are very resourceful;) I didn’t get a picture, but on one street they had painted and glittered egg cartons hanging from the rooftops just like these plastic cups!!!!
